Simulation and Modelling in the Energy Transition
- Electrification from a research perspective

A central aspect of Sweden's journey towards a fossil-free energy system is the electrification of sectors such as transportation and industry. In the transportation sector, over 50% of all cars sold are already rechargeable, and there is a rapid development of electrification in heavy-duty transport as well. But what does this mean for our infrastructure needs, and how are digital tools utilized in research on energy transition and electrification? How has the availability of open data impacted research efforts? You will learn more about this during the seminar with researchers Alice Jansson, Mattias Ingelström and Edvin Wallander from the Division of Industrial Electrical Engineering and Automation at Lund University.
